Unlike many interventions, mentorship has a long history of success in minoritized communities because it is destigmatized, representative, and culturally responsive.

Too often, communities of color, queer communities, and immigrant communities fall through the cracks because existing systems aren’t designed for them. Appa bridges the gap through proactive multi-lingual outreach to families and a deep commitment to culturally-responsive mentorship.
